2009 Daimo Cup results

Congratulations to Shirley Lee for winning the 2009 Daimo Cup with a net score of 65, lapping the field with a three shots win. The course was in great condition with tight fairways and fast greens. Most of the big hitters were succumbed to the tough track. Can’t blame the high scores on the weather as it was warm and very little wind. The winners are as follows:

A flight – Sam Tong – Net 69 (won on tie-breaker over Jasmer Lorenzo with a lower handicap)
B flight – Johnny Mui – Net 70
Ladies flight – Shirley Lee – Net 65

Closest to the hole: #3 – B Flight – None
#8 – A flight – Yoch Lin
#12 All flight – Erwin Young (guest)
#15 Ladies flight – Kim Shek

There were no skins as all holes were tied. If you have signed up for skin, check with Terry Owyang for a refund.

Regular $87.00
Senior $47.00 (65 years young + 15 consecutive years of membership)
Junior $49.00 (under 18) ($20 dues, $10 prize fund, $18 NCGA, $1 HIO)
Associate $20.00 (non-playing member)
Sr. Associate Free (65 years young, non-playing member)
New $97.00 (Requires two member sponsors.)

Our annual dues are $40.00 + $36.00 NCGA dues + $10.00 tournament prize fund + $1.00 hole-in-one fund per playing member. New members are charged a $10.00 NCGA initiation fee even if they already have an NCGA number. Payment Deadline: Postmarked by October 31, 2009 – NO EXCEPTIONS. Late Fee: add $10.00.
