The Oakland Chinese Golf Club welcomes you to test out the upgraded west course of Blue Rock Springs on Sunday, Dec. 10.
The format of the tournament will be a raffle tournament. Raffle tickets will be distributed so forth:
Enter Tournament - 2 tickets
Net pars - 1 ticket
Net birdies - 2 tickets
Net eagles - 4 tickets
Net albatrosses - 8 tickets
Low net score for tournament - 15 tickets
2nd low net score for tournament - 10 tickets
3rd low net score for tournament - 5 tickets
- Tiebreakers used for ties in low net score
At the end of the tournament we will be raffling off various prizes including clubs, bags, and balls. We will also have prizes for closest-to-pin.
To ensure an acceptable speed of play, we will be playing that all putts within the leather (ball is within the length of a standard putter grip) are gimmes. Also, if you feel that you are not in the running for the low net scores for the tournament, you may pick up your ball once you reach your ESC (Equitable Stroke Control) maximum # of strokes on a hole. The ESC chart is shown below. If you do decide not to finish any of the holes and do pick up your ball, please place an X by your name on your official scorecard so that we know that we shouldn’t consider you for the low net scores for the tournament.
