It was a sunny and warm day for the Hugh Lee Tournament of Champions held at Blue Rock Springs East course in Vallejo. Our host and his better half prepared goodies bags for all participants with water, pork bun, snacks, etc. They sure came in handy as the warm weather and the hilly course took a toll on some of the big hitters as none of them was able to net par or better. When the dusts were settled, Jeanne Yip emerged as the winner of the TOC trophy with a net score of 65.

Second net – Clem Leung (won on a tie-breaker over Mike Lee)

OCGC - Hugh Lee Tournament of Champions
Welcome to the 2010 Hugh Lee Tournament of Champions to be held this Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Blue Rock Springs East Golf Course in Vallejo. Official score cards will be distributed at the course. Please observe the followings:
· Men play from the “Blue tees”, women play from the “red tees”
· Summer rules, play the ball as it lies, hole out all putts, no gimmies. USGA rules govern all plays. (if the course conditions dictate otherwise, we will let you know whether summer rules will be in effect.)
· Please play ready golf and keep pace with the group in front of you.
· The 20 minutes time-clock will be in effect. Your group’s official score card must be turned in to the scorer’s table within 20 minutes of the group in front of you. DO NOT go to your car first. Penalty: two strokes will be added to every member of the group.
· Play a provisional ball if you believe your original ball may be lost or out of bound to avoid having to go back to re-tee.
· Flights: Men’s A - Handicap index 16.0 (Course handicap 0-19) and below; Men’s B – 17.0 (Course handicap 20 and above) and higher; and Ladies flight – all handicap index
· Closest to the hole:
Hole # 2 – All flights including guests
Hole #6 – Men’s B Flight (Course handicap 20 and higher)
Hole #11 – Men’s A Flight (Course handicap 19 and below)
