It was a nice and warm day with slight windy condition in the beautiful Napa Valley where 43 souls enjoyed a splendid day of golf. The newly reconfigured 18 holes layout was quite a challenge for most of us. The pace of play was markedly improved as every group turned in their score cards with plentyof time to spare except for the group of Sam, Vernon, Dexter, and Harry who did not pay attention to the warning of not going to their cars first. With the help of Mei-mei, they managed to turn in their card with only a minute to spare.
The results are as follows:
Men's A flight - First net - Doug Low, net 69 (his score per his card was a net 70 due to someone in his group couldn't add properly)
Second net - David Yip, net 70
Third net - Joe Young, net 71 (won on tie-breaker)
Men's B flight - First net - Jimmy Leung, net 71
Second net - William Wallace, net 72
Third net - Johnny Mui, net 73 (won on tie-breaker)
Ladies flight - First net - Shirley Lee, net 66
Second net - Judy Eng, net 68
There were six closest to the hole contests where everyone had four chances to win one of them. However, no one was able to win more than one prize. The winners are:
